Jack Daniel's No.27 Gold was originally released as a limited-edition travel-retail exclusive, but in Autumn 2015, it was made available to the general public. It was first aged in virgin American white oak barrels before being completed in maple-wood barrels and filtered twice through maple-wood charcoal, giving it a deep maple flavor.
